ENC Donate £2000 after S4All Step Up to Tackle Floods

EN:Able Communities have generously donated £2000 to S4ALL in recognition of our efforts during the flood relief and to help us keep our vital community services going.

As you may know, S4All is more than just a library, we are a true community anchor charity, supporting not only Stainforth but all our neighbouring communities across the east of Doncaster, including Fishlake.

As such, we were obliged to get involved and help to coordinate the flood relief efforts. This of course meant that our other regular services such as job club, library and charity shop were affected.

Also, our trustees have made the decision to donate all profits we have made in our charity shop in November towards the flood relief fund, which will go to the residents of Fishlake affected by the floods.

This generous donation from ENC will help our day to day services recover and keep going now that we have stepped back from the flood relief operations following and extremely busy period where we have seen the best of our community come together to help our neighbours.
