Summer Activities Round-Up

The S4All Kids Club has enjoyed a fantastic summer, with 300 visits and over 130 different children attending our activities this year.

Highlights included a magical magic show, where children were given magic wands and the opportunity to learn some magic tricks. Thanks to Mark’s Magic Kingdom for providing the entertainment and Julie & Ken Keegan for the fantastic buffet and use of the Resource Centre.

We also had a trip to Boston Park Farm, where children took part in the Maize Maze, saw a range of animals including baby piglets and highland cows, and enjoyed the indoor soft play when the rain descended. 

Creativity was a big part of the programme, with children making bird feeders, wind chimes, and bath bombs, and decorating pine cones, cups and tiles.

There was lots of excitement when the Reptile Man came to visit, giving the children a fascinating opportunity to get up close to creatures including a snake, meerkat and tarantula. 

The children also enjoyed getting hands-on with smoothie making, learning how to make their own delicious drinks.

S4All would like to thank everyone who helped make the summer programme possible, as well as all the children and families who took part. It has been a summer full of memorable experiences.

🧵 Weekly Groups

Smile Arts & Crafts

Join the Stainforth Smile Group every Tuesday, 10.30am–2.30pm, for arts and crafts in a friendly, relaxed setting. Various activities.

Knit & Natter

Knit & Natter group meets every Monday, 11am–1pm. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced knitter, everyone is encouraged

Sewing Club

Sewing club is currently having a break for the Summer and re-starts in September

French Class

Mondays 1pm – 2pm: Practical French. Open to beginners through to advanced learners, this class focuses on useful words and phrases to help you speak French with confidence.

Spanish

Fridays 1pm–3pm: Practical Spanish. Open to beginners through to advanced learners, this class focuses on useful words and phrases to help you speak Spanish with confidence.

💼 Job Club – Helping You Into Work

The Stainforth Job Club can help with CVs, job searches, applications, interview skills, and more. We may be able to assist with training or workwear costs.

💻 Digital Support for All

Stainforth4All Library provides free access to computers and WiFi. Printing is available at a small cost.
