S4ALL awards £150 to the National Childbirth Trust!

Stainforth 4 ALL has just granted National Childbirth Trust £150! NCT mission is to support parents throughout the first 1000 days to have the best possible experience of pregnancy, birth and childhood. Their vision is a world in which no parent is isolated, and all parents are supported to build a stronger society.

They are hoping to set up a group at Stainforth Methodist Church on Church Road. The group will be music, story and sensory group. Music and sensory have been proven to help children and babies development, and the interactive nature of their group will help both children and parents/carers to socialise. The group will be aimed at children aged from birth to 5 years old. However, older siblings will also be able to enjoy these sessions in the school holidays.

At the Doncaster branch, they currently run regular bumps, babies & beyond groups (twice weekly). Roll & stroll (weekly), nearly new sales (twice yearly) and other 'special events' including antenatal/expectant parent events. The Locations of their current events are Balby, Intake, Lakeside, Cusworth, Sandall Park, Quarry Park and Hexthorpe Park, so Stainforth 4 ALL have gladly awarded this money, so Stainforth is included.

We run the best value charity shop in Stainforth. We deliberately sell our items below the market level in order to help local people.
