ANOTHER STAINFORTH SUCCESS STORY!

We’ve just helped Ryan launch his new woodworking business — bringing us to 23 start-ups supported in the last 5 years (22 from Stainforth, 1 from Thorne).
Our business start-up scheme is for unemployed people with no savings, offering up to £200 to kickstart their idea. We can provide help with all stages of business planning from writing a business plan, selecting a legal structure, understanding tax obligations, setting up systems to track income and expenses, marketing and insurance quotes.
During Covid we were able to fund over £200 thanks to government support, but today the programme is fully funded by our charity shop — made possible by generous donations from Barnby Dun, Hatfield, Dunscroft, Thorne, Moorends, Fishlake and Stainforth.
If you or someone you know has a business idea but no way to start, get in touch with S4ALL — we’re here to help.

🎄 SANTA AND MRS CLAUS TO VISIT STAINFORTH LIBRARY 🎄
Families in Stainforth are in for a festive treat this December, as Santa and Mrs Claus will be making a special appearance at Stainforth Library on Monday, 22nd December, between 11am and 1pm.
The much-loved duo have promised to bring plenty of gifts for local children who have made it onto the “good list” this year. A dedicated grotto area will be set up inside the library, giving parents the chance to bring their youngsters along to meet Santa and choose a Christmas present.
Tickets will be handed out on the door, so there’s no need to book in advance — simply arrive on the day to secure your place. Gifts will be available for babies, toddlers, and primary school-aged children.
Library staff say this is one of their favourite events of the year, and they are looking forward to welcoming families for what promises to be a magical occasion.
